Tag is one of the simplest games ever. It is great for using up excess energy and will keep everyone entertained for ages.
Shadow Tag is a variation on this popular game and is ideal for lovely sunny days when players can catch shadows instead of actual bodies. |

MATERIALS

INSTRUCTIONS
- In standard tag you simply allocate one child to be 'it'
- They need to run around the group trying to 'tag' the others
- Whoever
is then tagged is 'it'.
A fun variation on the theme is shadow tag,
where players don't touch the other player's bodies, but touch their
shadow by jumping on it. This one only works, obviously, on a nice
sunny day! |
